I'm Grace: a writer, social media strategist, and the founder of Poolside Lifestyle Co.
Storytelling has been part of my life from the start. At 10 years old, I began writing a weekly column for the local newspaper in my hometown of Carrollton, Missouri. "The View From Down Here" covered community life from a young reader's perspective, and it showed me early on how powerful a well-told story can be in bringing people together.
I carried that foundation to the University of Missouri, where I studied journalism and developed a passion for social media. During college, I managed accounts for brands and influencers and found that helping others grow their audience and build genuine community was the work I wanted to pursue.
After earning my Bachelor of Journalism in May 2024, I spent the summer in Florida. As I began my career, businesses and creators started reaching out for guidance on growing their social media. By the end of that summer, I had built a client-based consulting practice around a simple idea: social media management should feel effortless for the people I serve, as easy as a day spent poolside. Poolside Lifestyle Co. launched in summer 2024.
Today, I'm based in Kansas City and work with clients across the country, from Florida to Colorado to Texas and everywhere in between. When I'm not working, you'll usually find me planning my next trip.
