Been dreaming about this for a while and here we are! 

I’d like to formally introduce myself – my name is Grace: writer, social media addict, & newfound business owner!

Ever since I was little, I’ve loved writing. I started out writing books and journals at a super young age (very entertaining content, haha!) and moved up to have my first shot writing and reporting for my local small town newspaper when I was 10 years old. I wrote about everything that was happening in my small hometown of Carrollton, Missouri, from a child’s perspective and had a weekly article called “The View From Down Here” – clever, right?

After retiring TVFDH in 2015, I finished high school and started college at Mizzou (MIZ!) and found a love for all things social media. Throughout college, I scored some pretty cool opportunities managing various social media and influencers’ accounts, and knew helping others grow their audience and community was where my passion lay.

After graduating with a Bachelor’s of Journalism in May of 2024, I moved from Missouri to my grandparents’ condo in Florida for a much-needed reset before joining the real world.

While spending my time soaking up all the sun I could get, I started getting calls from different accounts and clients asking for MY advice on growing and starting their social media accounts (who woulda thought?!) and the wheels started turning…

After a full summer of lounging by the pool, starting my first big girl job, and learning the ropes of client-based social media consulting, I realized that the best way to work and serve others was poolside (of course!!), and thus, Poolside Lifestyle Co. was born!
